Leo Messi, the renowned football star, has spoken out about his suspension from Paris Saint-Germain over an unauthorised trip to Saudi Arabia. In a recent video posted on his Instagram account, Messi explained his side of the story.

“I thought we were going to have a day off after the game as always. I had this trip organized and I couldn’t cancel it. I had already cancelled it before… I apologize to my teammates and I’m waiting for what the club wants to do with me,” said Messi in the video.
According to reports, Lionel Messi had already changed his plans for the trip to Saudi Arabia twice to accommodate PSG’s schedule. However, when he received the communication from the club. He was not able to change his plans as he was already traveling.

On the PSG side, the club claimed that Messi had failed to inform the coach or the president of his plans to leave for Saudi Arabia. As a result, the club decided to suspend Messi with immediate effect for two weeks. Which includes no chance to play games and participate in group trainings.
